The New England Governors' Conference, Inc. (NEGC) has
been a leader in regional energy policy development and planning for over 20 years.
The Conference has conducted important studies in such areas as efficiency, renewables,
alternative transportation, and fuel supplies.
The Conference addresses energy issues through its energy committees -- the Power Planning
Committee, Energy Directors Committee, and, jointly with the Conference of New England Governors
and Eastern Canadian Premiers -- the Northeast International Committee on Energy (NICE).
